Everllence To Operate Texas Gas Power Plant

Everllence has signed an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) agreement with the Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) to run its new balancing power plant currently under construction in Colorado County, Texas.
Under the agreement, Everllence, will staff and undertake the daily operation and maintenance of the entire power plant facility. This includes the provision of spare parts for the gensets and auxiliary systems, urea, lubricants, all associated logistics and administration of the 124 MW plant.
KPUB has contracted Everllence to supply the six 18V51/60G gas engines and auxiliary equipment for the plant. The facility is designed to balance the grid, providing fast and flexible power during peak demand or when other sources are unavailable. The site is located just 50 miles (80 km) from Everllence’s US headquarters in Brookshire, Texas.
KPUB is the first company to receive funding approval for the project from the Texas Energy Fund, which supports gas-fired power generation projects across the state. The plant is scheduled to go online in 2027.
