Bentley Motors unveiled the Torcal, an all-electric model that becomes the British automaker’s fourth model line. The launch supports Bentley’s Beyond100+ strategy, under which the company plans to sell only fully electric vehicles by 2035.

The Torcal will launch in two trims. The core model produces 821 PS (604 kW) and 1194 Nm of torque, reaching 60 mph from a standstill in 3.3 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds) and topping out at 155 mph (249 km/h). The S model raises that to 888 PS (653 kW) and 1350 Nm, Bentley’s highest torque figure to date, reaching 60 mph in 2.8 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds) with a top speed of 162 mph (261 km/h).

Both versions draw on a 113 kWh net battery pack built from 192 lithium-ion pouch cells on an 800V architecture, backed by a 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty. Bentley rates the Torcal’s range at up to 375 miles (600 km) under the WLTP test cycle, with 10% to 80% DC fast charging at 400 kW taking just under 20 minutes and adding roughly 100 miles (161 km) of range in about seven minutes.

The Torcal measures five meters in length and uses a fully active suspension with adaptive dampers alongside electronic all-wheel steering, which brings its turning circle to 11.1 meters. Its driver-assistance system draws on 25 radars, sensors, and cameras, and buyers can choose iron brake discs (420 mm front, 370 mm rear) or an optional carbon-ceramic setup (440 mm front, 410 mm rear).

The interior offers a 100% Merino wool fabric, developed with British wool specialist Fox Brothers, in five colors, alongside 15 shades of olive tan leather and 15 Dinamica finishes. Other options include new Ombré Walnut and Sunburst Aluminum veneers among six wood and six piano-finish choices, plus 16-way adjustable seats with massage functionality. A 620W, 16-speaker sound system is standard, with a 1780W, 28-speaker Naim system supporting Dolby Atmos 7.1 available as an upgrade.

Bentley designs and builds the Torcal at its headquarters in Crewe, England, where the automaker has operated since WO Bentley founded the company in 1919. Bentley has been part of Volkswagen Group since 1998, employs more than 4000 people at the Crewe site, and builds five model lines there, including bespoke commissions through its in-house coachbuilding division, Mulliner.
